Geograph's 14th birthday town walk in Gloucester

Cathedral Close, Gloucester
To celebrate Geograph's 14th birthday, a group of Geograph-ers followed Phillip Halling's call to come to Gloucester for lunch at the Fountain Inn, followed by a town walk. Phillip guided us around the cathedral precinct and the docks and treated us to his detailed and interesting commentary on all aspects of the city's history from Romans to mediaeval times to early industry. 'Weeping Window' at Hereford Cathedral

The 'Weeping Window' sculpture at Hereford Cathedral was made by two people, Paul Cummins (artist) and Tom Piper (designer). This sculpture has been seen in many places before, such as Caernarfon Castle, etc. Recently, during the early days of March 2018, the Weeping Window sculpture was being set up at this cathedral, and it wasn't until March 14th 2018 the Weeping Window fully opened to the public.
