Harrogate War Memorial
2018 was the busiest photographic year of my life. A new car actually compatible with motorways Photo (it's only a 1200 but size isn't everything) started me off breaking new records from the beginning of the year onwards. First my north record in Lincolnshire Photo , followed by my map distance record a month later in Exeter Photo . As I am in London Photo trying to beat that again north or west would require a lot further, towards the Lake District, as SW-NE...

Resistance melted away. Thrift went out of the window. I blew my pocket money on an iPad2, didn't I? Photo (spot the Apple store). Mid Devon : Burnt Out Car
BEING quite a way out from the town testing out my new SLR on the second day I'd had it - and getting a bug stuck in the viewfinder on the same day in a nearby square - I was happily wandering around in the countryside by myself miles away from the main town and from civilisation. As I walked down a steep hill a Land Rover passed, stopped, and reversed back up the road. A man with long hair and a dog peered at me through the window.
