The regions of Great Britain are Met Office climatic regions, defined and enlarged upon here. The island of Ireland is divided arbitrarily into east and west down the myriad boundary. As a non-geographer even I can see that this feature can't be stereotyped. Arches come in all shapes and sizes, clearly depending on the type and hardness of the rock, the direction and condition of the strata, the exposure and the tidal range.
