Towards Mid Island, Strangford Lough
Towards Mid Island, Strangford Lough
Mid Island viewed from the shoreline just south of Greyabbey. It is linked to the mainland via an isthmus to Skillins Point, Greyabbey, and by a causeway to South Island J5767 : Towards South Island, Strangford Lough. Seen at low tide it is technically possible to walk out to the island from here, although the mud and tide can both be treacherous.
