The Strangford Lough ferry (12)
See J5950 : The Strangford Lough ferry (11). To the layman this is the interesting bit. The ferry must turn to berth at the slip to the right of the terminal (white building – middle bottom) but to do so will not now be heading into the tidal stream. Watching from this distance, she appears to be going sideways as the engine works against the effect of the incoming tide - on her port side - doing its best to push her back up the lough.
