Disused premises, Belfast (1)
The disused premises (middle), in Donegall Street Place, seem to have eluded most publications and official sources (including the “Buildings at Risk” Register). I have no definitive answers but it seems that they once functioned as a cotton warehouse (storage) and that they might be pre-Victorian. Whatever their history they do seem to have a certain architectural interest and period atmosphere about them making them worthy of some sort of official attention.
