Albert Quay, Belfast
A view along Albert Quay in Belfast docks. The quay was constructed in the late 1840s and named after the Prince Consort who visited Belfast with Queen Victoria in 1849.
On the right is the County Down side of the Victoria Channel - currently looking spartan apart from the few remaining shipyard cranes and buildings J3676 : Towards the Belfast Dry Dock, J3575 : Paint Hall, Belfast docks, J3575 : Former Harland & Wolff Headquarters Building & Drawing Offices [2], J3575 : Samson or Goliath? but is actually a huge building site and is destined to look very different in a few years as the 'Titanic Quarter' LinkExternal link redevelopment progresses.
