Fermoyle Strand
The vast firm sands of Fermoyle Strand were almost deserted at this time in the early evening. At the end of the Strand, Fermoyle Island marks the divide between the Owenmore estuary to the left and Brandon Bay to the right. Masatiompan is the distant hump, one of the Brandon Mountain peaks.
