'Tenacious', Tall Ships Belfast 2009
Tall ship 'Tenacious' in Belfast Lough taking part in the 'Parade of Sail' to mark the end of the Tall Ships event in Belfast.
'Tenacious' is a ship owned by the Jubilee Sailing Trust who commissioned the vessel in the 1990s. Allegedly the largest wooden hulled ship built in the UK in the last 100 years, 'Tenacious' was launched in April 2000. It is one only two 'Class A' tall ships in the world purpose built to enable people of all physical and sensory abilities to take an equally active role in sailing the ships, the other being the 'Lord Nelson' J3474 : The 'Lord Nelson', Belfast, J5182 : The 'Lord Nelson', Ballyholme Bay, Bangor.
