Teampall Brecan
The remains of a monastic site with a church, often referred to as the Seven Churches. The church is dedicated to Saint Brecan whose origin is obscure. This site was a major destination for pilgrimage in the Middle Ages, but the present ruins date from around 1200AD. Other buildings around the church are supposed to be hostels for the pilgrims.
