Farmland in Fermoyle

This was taken from behind the Strand at Fermoyle, and shows yellow flag iris on land that has been improved from sand dunes, on the west coast of Scotland it's called machair where it's unimproved. The settlement line is about half a kilometre back from the beach, the houses here are along the R560 road in Kilcumin. Behind Stradbally Mountain rises to around 825m.
