This is the concrete pier that links the harbour on Great Samphire Island (An tOilean Mor) with Fenit, whose houses can be in the background. On this hot Irish Bank Holiday Monday this was an understandably popular place to visit as the parked cars, pedestrians and traffic demonstrates.
