Castles of Munster: Williamstown, Limerick
This castle beside a minor road parallel to the main Bruff to Limerick road lies about 1 km to the northwest of Rockstown Castle. It has a circular bartizan on the tower's SE corner equipped with gunloops - seen here, and a turret over the staircase on the other side. The bartizan and the parapet were repaired in the C19 when a number of other alterations were made.
