Royal Arms Hotel, Omagh

This is the front of the hotel after it closed in March 1999, there were a couple of businesses and shops which do not exist now. One was a travel shop and the other was Oxfam. Much of the general appearance of the facade has been retained. It had to be pinned up whilst the rest of the building was demolished. - see later picture taken in December, 2008 H4572 : Topshop, Omagh

A local historian informed me that there had been a CTC plaque here, similar to one still remaining in Sixmilecross H5767 : Former school, Sixmilecross
