H8730 : Darkley Road at Aughnagurgan
near to Lower Darkley and Darkley, Ireland

Darkley Road at Aughnagurgan
Junction of Annvale Road (one of its many offshoots), Darkley Road and the Aughnagurgan Road.
A29 road (NI): Keady to Newtownhamilton :: H8632
The A29 is a major route in Northern Ireland, leading south from Portrush (County Antrim) to the border at Drombilla (County Louth) where it continues as the R177 into Dundalk.
It passes through Coleraine, Cookstown, Dungannon and Armagh.
The 8 mile section between the villages of Keady and Newtownhamilton is a single-carriageway road of reasonable standard. Despite improvements, overtaking can still be precarious in places.
It runs southeast from Keady, bypassing the village of Darkley to the north before climbing up the southern side of Carrigatuke mountain and into the Fews Forest at Armaghbrague, where it reaches an altitude of 315 metres above MSL. It then descends slightly, approaching Newtown from the northwest.
