River Bann cruise, 29 May 2010
The “Lady Sandel” sometimes operates an extended cruise, upstream on the freshwater River Bann, from Christie Park jetty, Coleraine to Portneal jetty at Kilrea. The trip lasts just over three hours (including negotiating three locks). Well worth taking, it allows the non-boat owner a chance to see the river and gives views of sights not visible from the road or the adjacent woods and forests. Accompanied by an excellent commentary.
