SJ2088 : Hilbre Point and Red Rocks, Hoylake

taken 21 years ago, near to Hoylake, Wirral, England

Hilbre Point and Red Rocks, Hoylake
Hilbre Point and Red Rocks, Hoylake
This is where the River Dee meets the Irish Sea on the corner of the Wirral. The sandstone rocks make great clambering, and you can walk out to the outcrop known as Red Rocks at low tide. This is not Hilbre Island, which is south of here.
