Donaghadee’s best-known boat is the “Sir Samuel Kelly” J5979 : Former lifeboat "Sir Samuel Kelly", Donaghadee – a 46’ 9” Watson class - on station 1950/76 and still on display in the car park beside the boatyard. For the record, the station’s first boat was the “William and Laura” – a 43ft Watson class – on station 1910/32.
