On Valentia (or Valencia) Island
Looking south-west over Valentia Island from a point high up on the island. In the distance, on the mainland, is the village of Portmagee. There appear to be two versions of the name of the island: "Valencia" is used by OS Ireland, but "Valentia" seems to be in more common use. Thanks to A McCarron for information on the name.
