About 12-18 inches long and towards the northern end of the car park.
Canal relics, Stranmillis, Belfast

There are three bits of rusting metal on the quay on the eastern side of the former lighter basin J3471 : Former canal basin, Belfast, on the Lockview Road, close to the entrance to the towpath near the Stranmillis weir. This series of photographs appears as a record of their remarkable survival – the canal was formally abandoned in 1958. The basin has been filled in and is now a car park.
