D3808 : Ballygally Head, Antrim coast road
3 km from Milltown, Ireland

Ballygally Head, Antrim coast road
Much of the Antrim coast north of Larne is vertical cliff or rough pasture. Ballygally (also “Ballygalley”) Head differs in that it is steep rather than vertical. It happens (apart from a very short section of road and shore) to be the only land in this square. As an aside it should be noted that Cairndhu Golf Club is on the top of the head (outside the photo). This is the view towards Larne.
