The Andrew Fisher Memorial
This is a scan from 35mm film. See another contributor's picture, NS5064 : The Andrew Fisher Memorial, Barshaw Park, for a view from a different angle, and NS5064 : Barshaw Park: the Andrew Fisher Memorial and NS5064 : Barshaw Park for views in context. The text of the inscription is worn in places, but reads, in part:

"Presented to the town of Paisley by the Misses Fisher, 81 New Sneddon St, Paisley, in memory of their brother, Bailie Andrew Fisher, Engineer, Paisley, J.P. for the County of Renfrew, Burgess of Paisley, and for 30 years a member of the Paisley Town Council. Born 1st December 1843, Died 19th March 1920."

[Some of the lead lettering has dropped off, meaning that sections of the text, such as the "19th" appearing near the end, cannot be read even in very close-up photographs of the relevant parts of the inscription. I checked them by touch when passing through the park in 2022, and added them to my transcription, which is now complete.]
