Castles of Munster: Tullow, Tipperary (1)

The most unusual feature of this castle is the circular tower that projects from the north corner. It has a spiral stair carried on a squinch arch above the angle between the tower and the main block. It stands in a field off a minor road 1km north of Templetouhy.
