Navigation light, Newry River
The Newry River connects the Newry Ship canal to Carlingford Lough. Commercial shipping has ceased but there is still a small amount of commercial fishing and a smaller amount of pleasure use. This is Newry River Range Front light (in the style of a round tower) on the Co Louth side of the river close to the Ferry Wood J1219 : Lane through the Ferry Wood near Omeath. The solar panel can be seen on the top left of the light.
