The "Crown" gates, Belfast (1)
The “Crown” Link
in Gt Victoria Street, is best known for its “gin palace” interior and the external tiling. The building dates from 1885 and the porch from 1898. The ornamental gates were made by one G Jones who also made J3773 : Ornamental gatepost, Belfast (1). It might be reasonable to assume that the gates and the porch are of the same date. J3373 : The "Crown" gates, Belfast (2) shows the maker’s name.
