The 09.40 King's Cross - Newcastle is conveying through coaches to Tyne Commission Quay for passengers for Scandinavian sailing; it is headed by Gresley V2 2-6-2 No. 60963 (built 1/43 as No. 3675 (No. 963 from 1946), withdrawn 6/65).
