National Space Centre
National Space Centre
The National Space Centre was originally commissioned in 1980 as an earth station for transatlantic phone calls. More recently this has been taken over by a company called National Space Centre who provide top quality satellite communications.

The largest dish (the 32 metre dish seen here in the "park" position, currently known as Big Dish) is an overkill for satellite communications these days and is in the process of being converted for re-use as a radio telescope.
