NH5891 : Bridge reinforced

Bridge reinforced
River Carron Scotland; a reinforced bridge used by canoe people to study river state. Narrow, one car at a time can pass very high over the stream. Obviously at one time the structure and river soils were severely affected by the frequent Carron floods which the engineers sought to relieve downstream at the Dornoch estuary marshes. It is cut for deflection of flow, although the base is solid rock. I thought I could add to the Bridge Stability theme as others had. High river in the week before arrival at the residence.
