This sign is hanging above the Thomas Dillon Claddagh Gold Museum at 1 Quay Street. Thomas Dillon Claddagh Gold, established in 1750, is the original maker of the claddagh ring and also the oldest jeweller in Ireland. The rings are made in 9ct, 14ct & 18ct yellow gold. Some famous clients include John Wayne, Bing Crosby, Walt Disney, Princess Grace Kelly, Prince Rainier of Monaco, Mia Farrow, Barry Fitzgerald, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Queen Victoria, King George V, King Edward, Queen Alexandria, Maureen O'Hara, Winston Churchill, etc.
