Training ship 'Prolific' at Bangor harbour. The ship is a 30m ketch, was built in 2003 at Orust, Sweden, and is based at Stavanger, Norway. The ship "is administrated by a non-profit foundation, sailing with young people from pobelprosjektet.no. This is a program for dropouts between 15 and 25 year and groups put together from schools or youth clubs. Most have backgrounds which include social exclusion, learning difficulties and unemployment. Voyages last for 1 day to 2 month, and may visit anywhere along the Norwegian coast, Skagen, North Sea and also during winter further South" (accessed from Link
