Mallard, Lagan towpath, Belfast (2)
There is a damp spot, prone to flooding J3370 : Bench and floods, Lagan towpath, Belfast, between the towpath and the Lagan Meadows. There were about a dozen mallard there today (more than on the river). I took several but picked this one because it shows the habitat and the orange legs and webbed feet.
Mallard, River Lagan, Belfast/Lisburn
Mallard ducks are common along the River Lagan between Stranmillis and Sprucefield and, although used to people, are not tame. This is a collection of photographs showing some of the birds at various places along the towpath.
