A Victorian reservoir, in the hills to the west of Carrickfergus, completed in 1878 for the Belfast Water Commissioners to supply water to the expanding city. 1070 ft long with a depth of 41 ft it (when built) held 66 (sixty six) million gallons of water. This view is from Knockagh war memorial.
