The Rossmore Memorial commemorates Henry Westenra. the 4th Baron Rossmore, who died as the result of a hunting accident at Windsor Castle in 1874. An officer in the Life Guards, he was 23 when he died. This memorial stands in The Diamond (i.e. the town's square).
