Magnet House, Belfast
Magnet House, Belfast
Magnet House, at the corner of York Street (left) and what remains of Gt Patrick Street, beside the Dunbar Link. For many years synonymous with the Department of Agriculture and now occupied by various Government offices. Its address is 81-99 York Street. When built (later re-clad) it replaced a number of small buildings which, at one time, were home to several traders as diverse as The Irish Shroud and Frilling Co (87A) and a temperance hotel (99).
