The Sixmilewater, Muckamore (2)
Yesterday was a day of continuous heavy rain. This view, from this footbridge J1785 : Footbridge, Muckamore, shows the river looking a bit high as it flows downstream, past the colours of autumn.
The Sixmilewater, Co Antrim
The Sixmilewater is longer than the name suggests – approximately 20 miles in total. It rises to the north of Carrickfergus and flows by way of Ballyclare, Dunadry and Antrim town into Lough Neagh.
