Ulster Defence Regiment Memorial, Lisburn
This sculpture, created by John Sherlock and depicting a UDR soldier and a Greenfinch operating a VCP stands outside Lisburn's Irish Linen Hall, It is dedicated to the 50,000 former members of the Ulster Defence Regiment. It was unveiled in June 2011. During the Troubles, 260 serving and former members were killed and over 400 were wounded - many of them off-duty and at their homes or workplaces.

Like most things in Northern Ireland, the erecting of the statue was not free from controversy.
