Footbridge, Ballyclare
Footbridge, Ballyclare
A footbridge, from the leisure centre (behind me), across the Sixmilewater, to the War Memorial Park J2991 : Ballyclare War Memorial Park. The river is not shown on the Google map – see the satellite photograph.
The Sixmilewater, Co Antrim

The Sixmilewater is longer than the name suggests – approximately 20 miles in total. It rises to the north of Carrickfergus and flows by way of Ballyclare, Dunadry and Antrim town into Lough Neagh.
