The Doagh River rises between Burnside and Rashee to the north west of Ballyclare. It flows through Doagh, here, at The Burn Road and joins the Sixmilewater a short distance downstream from this bridge J2688 : River bridge near Doagh. The river is not shown on the Google map – see the satellite photograph.

The Sixmilewater, Co Antrim

The Sixmilewater is longer than the name suggests – approximately 20 miles in total. It rises to the north of Carrickfergus and flows by way of Ballyclare, Dunadry and Antrim town into Lough Neagh.
