One of two lanterns on the former Irish Society School C8432 : Irish Society School building in Beresford Place (Nursery Avenue on the Google map). The first school opened in Kingsgate Street in 1705. It moved to Beresford Place in 1821. The present building (now converted for residential use) dates from 1869.
