Former Worcester Engine Works
Former Worcester Engine Works
This complex in red and yellow brick with an Italianate clock tower and a classically styled end to the erecting shop dates back to the Worcester Engine Works of 1864. It later became the West Central Wagon Works and was then Heenan & Froude, famous for dynamometers amongst other things. The British Caprotti gear was also made here. It is now in multiple occupancy.
