Whooper Swan, Castle Espie

One of a pair of Whooper Swans on the lake at Castle Espie. They were joined by a single Mute Swan and the party of visiting Sea Scouts was quickly moved on with cries of "careful now, that swan could break your arm".

Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust Centre Link on the shores of Strangford Lough, County Down. The centre is situated on the site of a Victorian brick and pottery factory.
