Looking towards St. Stephen's Green tram stop, Dublin
The Green Line currently terminates here and tram 5004 is waiting at the stop, before starting its journey to Sandyford. The line has recently been extended from there to Brides Glen, in the southeast suburbs of Dublin. There is quite a gap between St. Stephen's Green and where the Red Line runs in the city centre. It has now been decided to close that gap by extending the Green Line to meet the Red Line and continuing north to a new terminus at Broombridge.
