Coolfan River near Newlands Cross Cemetery
The Coolfan River, a tributary of the Camac (Cammoge) River, which reaches the Liffey under Heuston Station, runs away from the remote end of Newlands Cross Cemetery. The modest river, which rises in the old Newlands Demesne, widens into a pond with islands a little downstream of this location, and then passes under the M50.
