A site, at Balmoral Avenue, unused since the Public Records Office moved to a new building in the Titanic Quarter J3574 : The new Public Records Office for Northern Ireland, Belfast (3). Now (January 2014) sold for residential development. There is an existing planning permission dated 3 February 2011 “Z/2010/0730/O Public Record Office of Northern Ireland, 66-70 Balmoral Avenue, Belfast, BT09 6NY. Demolition of existing buildings, construction of 11 dwellings and refurbishment of 2 existing dwellings”.
