Castles of Connacht: Cloonbigny, Roscommon (1)

Little remains of the lower parts of the main body of a tower built on a glacial mound, apart from the two-storey SE end wall with slight remains of the stairwell in the south corner. Adjoining against this is a two-storey C17 house with an attic, having fireplaces in projecting breasts in the end walls.
