Salt marsh, Strangford Lough, Newtownards - November 2014(3)
Part of Patton’s Marsh, on the north western side of Strangford Lough, about 2¾ hours after low water Killyleagh, showing one of the smaller channels cut into the inter-tidal mud. The presence of fresh seaweed suggests that the land has been covered by seawater very recently.
Patton's Marsh, Newtownards :: J4971

An area of salt marsh, on the northern shore of Strangford Lough. Used, in season, by the Newtownards Wildfowler’s Association. It looks like a treacherous spot where the unwary could sink very easily.
