The Saint Patrick
The Saint Patrick
The boat was built here 50 metres away, on the spot where the statue to Saint Patrick stands by a boat-builder from Killybegs called Charlie Mclaughlin. It is 50 feet long by 12ft-6in wide and licensed to carry 150 passengers. 12 men rowed the boat with 4 oars until the early 60's. It was in continuous use until 1988.
