A Portadown and Banbridge Regional Waterworks Board J2627 : Plaque at the Spelga Dam pipeline east of Fofanny Dam J2829 : Fofanny Dam Reservoir from the Ulster Way. According to this website LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link ) , the waters from Fofanny were "to be piped to Banbridge and Portadown by gravity feed through 10" and 9" cast iron pipes." This may be that pipeline and, if so, dates from c1905. The pipeline is (mostly) underground and its path is marked by several concrete posts J2929 : PBRW post near Fofanny.
