The view, from this bridge J2055 : Old railway bridge, Magherabeg, Dromore (June 2015), towards Dromore and Banbridge of the old Knockmore Jct – Banbridge/Castlewellan GNR(I) line (1863/1956). The line was built by the Banbridge, Lisburn and Belfast Railway and leased to the Ulster Railway which operated the service until absorbed by the Great Northern Railway (Ireland) in 1876. Nature has since reclaimed much of the route with the cutting now filled by mature trees.
