Engineers Train at Barnes
Engineers Train at Barnes
Colas Rail class 70 (70809) brings the 6Y41, Eastleigh East Yard to Hoo Junction Up Yard, engineers service through Barnes. Due through at 11:16, the train was running close to time unlike many of the South West Trains passenger services which were severely disrupted following emergency services attending an incident at Earlsfield earlier in the morning. The Hounslow Loop line can be seen diverging to the right from the tracks of the main Waterloo-Reading line. The brick building in the distance is a sub-station supplying power to the railway. Beyond is the level crossing on Vine Road.
